Yuletide 2018 Recs Part One: For MEEEEEE
I got four stories for Yuletide this year and they are all amazing and perfect and everything I could possibly want.
The Turner Series - Cat Sebastian
Father Figure (5760 words) by dancinbutterfly - Explicit - Lord Courtenay/Julian Medlock - Praise Kink, Daddy Kink
I am so delighted to have gotten some Yuleporn this year and this is SUCH great Yuleporn. Hot, and intense, and well-characterized, and incredibly emotionally satisfying.
Las Vegas “Let’s Get Married” Commercial
This is a wonderful little story of a woman proposing to her girlfriend, that manages to avoid all the pitfalls of the "surprise proposal" trope. I'm not the one who nominated it this year, but I'm so glad someone did so I could request it.
Marry Me (1292 words) by whitedandelions - Teen And Up Audiences
This was such the perfect present to wake up to Christmas morning. A glimpse at various pieces of their relationship leading up to that moment.
Cupcakes and Long Distance Flights (301 words) by Missy - General Audiences
And then I woke up this morning and I had been gifted ANOTHER, equally wonderful backstory for them. Shorter, but no less perfect.
Captain Marvel (Comics)
A Reasonable List of Demands (576 words) by Corlaire - General Audiences - Carol Danvers/James "Rhodey" Rhodes, Chewie
Carol asks Rhodey to catsit. The best thing about this, other than everything about this, is how so very, very cat-like Chewie is throughout.
