A completely fabulous bit of casefic with an outsider perspective on Peter. Also introduced me to a fabulous historical woman I'd never heard about before.

A great insight into Saint-George, with a much happier ending than Sayers had planned for him, while still feeling true to the characters and the time.
Discworld Series - Terry Pratchett
The Importance of Being Mostly Human (10434 words) bygogollescent - Lobsang Ludd/Susan Sto Helit
In which Susan identifies "Where's My Cow" as a proto-talismanic anchor for Young Sam's continued health and existence, and tries very hard not to wonder what the Vimes' butler does on his day off. There may also be a lesson about the meaning of Hogswatch, but no one wants to talk about that.
Pitch-perfect Discworld fic that cleverly ties up some time-tossed loose ends from various books. Also, Susan Sto Helit meets the Vimes family! ♥ ♥ ♥

A wonderful, melancholy look at the relationship between a father and grown son. I love how the grown up Young Sam is portrayed here, and especially how his relationship with his father is complicated and frustrating and loving and not at all sentimental or idealized.
