Oh gosh, the Dashwood sisters. I love them both so, SO much, and this vid does a wonderful job of highlighting how their relationship is the emotional heart of the story. Also, a fascinating example of the kind of story you can tell with careful clip choice. I won't say there aren't any men in this vid, but there are very few of them, and they are never there for long and they are never the focus of the shot.

I did not know this documentary existed and now I'm on a quest to find it, which is turning out to be surprisingly challenging in Canada! This tapped into a lot of my feelings about performative queerness and finding power through community.

A great mix of repurposed footage and scenes from the Rivers of London comics. Really captures the feel of the books and the characters.

Shamelessly joyful mix of footage from the more-serious Branagh/Thompson movie to audio from the delightfully ridiculous Tennant/Tate stage version. The source footage used is weirdly washed-out in a way that might be deliberate and is definitely a bit distracting, but I didn't find that detracted too much from my enjoyment of the vid.
