Fire Sermon by
commodorified -- Part of the "All The King's Men" universe. This is the story the entire series has been building towards. It's the story of what really happened after Kingston. A simultaneously gut-wrenching and joyful LKU. Everything about this story makes me just, ridiculously, impossibly happy. The strength of the All the King's Men universe has always been the relationships. They're complex and multifaceted and gloriously messy. Fire Sermon is really the culmination of all the various relationships the other stories in the series have explored. It's Kennedy and Edrington and Hornblower and Bush and Pellew and all the baggage and all the love between them. And it's beautiful and perfect. And I love it more than words can say.
